Peter Haviland sits on the Board of Directors of The Open Group and, as such, oversees a number of standards that drive digital technology adoption, secure information exchange, and complex transformation programme design and governance. He is also the current vice-chair of the Architecture Forum that is working on, amongst other things, the next version of TOGAF. He is an author of numerous 'World-Class EA' papers published through this body and was a key contributor to TOGAF 9 as well as the Business Architecture certification requirements within the Open CA programme. He is based in Germany and holds numerous architecture-related certifications including Distinguished Chief Architect within Open CA, and TOGAF 9. He has worked in North America, South America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Australia / New Zealand, and has trained over 1000 people in architecture and architecture related disciplines.
